KOTA BARU: New Straits Times Press’ (NSTP) Kelantan Newspaper Sales and Distribution manager, Saifuzzaman Jaafar, died last night after suffering a heart attack.
He was 47.
Saifuzzaman’s wife, Azlinni Ariff, and their four children were at his side when he died at their home in Taman Telok Baru here at about 10pm.
His remains are expected to be buried at the Guchil Bayam Cemetery this morning.
Earlier, a funeral prayer was conducted at Saifuzzaman’s mother-in-law’s house at Lorong Minyak Gas here, where about 50 relatives and friends had gathered to pay their last respects.
Saifuzzaman joined NSTP in 2000.
