Pak Ngah's body arrives from Batam [NSTTV]

JOHOR BARU: The body of renowned music composer Datuk Suhaimi Mohd Zain who was more popularly known as Pak Ngah arrived at the Pasir Gudang Ferry Terminal here at about 10.15am today.

His body was brought by a special boat from Batam, Indonesia, at 8am and took about two hours to arrive at the ferry terminal.

He was accompanied by immigration officers and close family members including his wife Datin Sharifah Mahani Syed Kasim.

According to a representative of the family Abdul Raziff Abdul Rani, final funeral rites will be conducted at Masjid Kampung Baru and Pak Ngah will be buried at the Muslim Cemetery in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur after zohor prayers.

Pak Ngah who was believed to have gone to Batam for work and holiday with his family, died of a heart attack due to heart failure at Tanjung Pinang, at 3.15 p.m. yesterday.

He leaves behind a wife ​​​​​​​Sharifah Mahani, a son and daughter.
