MyRumah Property Showcase kicks off today in Ipoh

IPOH: The fifth and final MyRumah Property Showcase organised by the New Straits Times Press (NSTP) began today at AEON Klebang Mall here.

The property showcase will be held this weekend from 10am until 10pm and the admission is free.

This year, the first four MyRumah series were successfully organised in Shah Alam, Sungai Petani, Johor Baru and Melaka, attracting about 45,800 visitors.

A total of five property developers and one non-developer would be part of the exhibition, with more than 1,000 homes to offer.

The developers are SPNB Aspirasi Sdn Bhd, Rima Properties Holding Sdn Bhd, Sun Land Properties Sdn Bhd, Casa Subang Sdn Bhd and P.K Lee Sdn Bhd while Takaful Ikhlas Berhad is the non-developer.

These developers are featuring various medium to high-end housing properties in Ipoh and Gurun, Kedah priced between RM300,000 and RM500,000.

The properties that will be offered in Perak are a single-storey Semi-D project in Metro Maya at Batu Gajah, a double-storey terrace horse at Taman Klebang Rima in Ipoh and a double-storey terrace house in Sundland Residence in Jalan Kuala Kangsar.

Meanwhile in Gurun, the properties that are up for grabs are single-storey and double-storey semi-detached houses at Taman Permai Utara.

Seven renowned property speakers will be sharing the latest tips and trends tomorrow and Sunday on the local property market, besides having lucky draws and children’s activities.

This time, famous TV host, Maria Tunku Sabri will make a special appearance on the last day of the showcase to do a special cooking demonstration and also to share her personal experience in property investment including her story on a seven-storey bungalow that went viral on social media.

The exhibition will be launched by state Housing and Local Government Committee chairman Paul Yong Choo Kiong at 3pm today.
