KUALA LUMPUR: A 6-year-old boy who was playing with friends slipped and fell to his death from his family’s third-floor apartment unit at an Armed Forces residential area in Setapak here, today.
The boy, who was the son of a soldier, fell to the ground floor at around 3pm.
He was immediately rushed to the Emergency Ward of the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) where he was pronounced dead at 3.13pm.
The child’s body was then transported to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine (IPFN) HKL for a post-mortem.
He was later buried at the Kampung Nakhoda Batu Caves cemetery.
“More information will be revealed once the investigation on the incident is complete,” said Wangsa Maju police chief Superintendent Noor Azmi Yusoff when contacted.
