SHAH ALAM: An air-conditioner repairman was killed in a fall from the sixth floor of the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) building in Kuala Selangor, near here, yesterday.
Gan Han Boon, 40, was found lying prone and bleeding outside the main lobby of the building at 10.30am. He had been repairing air-conditioning units on the sixth floor of the building.
“The victim died at the scene,” Kuala Selangor district police chief Superintendent Md Asri A Wahab said in a statement.
He added that the body was sent to the Tanjong Karang Hospital for a post-mortem, which revealed that the victim died of severe injuries consistent with a fall from height.
The case has been classified as “sudden death”, Md Asri said.
