Firemen rescue kitten from squat toilet

KUALA LUMPUR: Firefighters today rescued a kitten that had fallen into a squat toilet at a house in Bandar Rinching, Semenyih, near here.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operation deputy director Alimaddia Bukri said an emergency call was received at 10.27am.

“A team of six rescuers from Semenyih fire station was deployed to the house,” he said.

“After sizing up the situation, the team found a kitten that had fallen into the toilet.

“It took about 10 minutes to extricate the cat.

“The team left the house after making sure that there were no other risk factors.”
