KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, who underwent surgery on Monday, was visited at his hospital ward by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, last night.
The visit was revealed in a tweet by the Economic Affairs Minister’s daughter, Farah Amira, who also posted two pictures of her father and Al-Sultan Abdullah at the hospital.
“My family and I were honoured to have the Yang di-Pertuan Agong XVI Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah… visit Abah @AzminAli this evening.
“Indeed, the love and concern showed by His Majesty will be Abah @AzminAli’s strength to regain health and continue to serve the people and the country,” she said.
However, Farah did not disclose the hospital at which Azmin is convalescing, nor the nature of the surgery he had undergone.
Earlier on Tuesday, Azmin was visited by the Prime Minister’s wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali.
