KUALA LUMPUR: The retail prices for RON95 petrol and diesel will remain unchanged at RM2.08 and RM2.18 per litre, respectively, from midnight to March 8.
The Finance Ministry, in a statement today, said RON97 petrol however will cost five sen more, at RM2.43 per litre.
It said that based on the Automatic Pricing Mechanism, the retail prices for RON95 petrol and diesel should be RM2.13 and RM2.38 per litre, respectively.
“The lower retail price of RON95 petrol is in keeping with the commitment of the Pakatan Harapan government to reduce the cost of living.” the statement said.
