KUALA LUMPUR: The heatwave in Malaysia at the moment may see some people dressing a little bit lighter than normal in a bid to stay cool.
However those driving along Jalan Imbi this morning were shocked when things got a bit 'heated' and it wasn't even the weather.
At about 11.15am today, a transwoman, believed to be from the Philippines, was spotted running and dancing in the middle of the road, stark naked.
Dang Wangi district police deputy chief Supt Rudy Abdullah said they were informed about the incident by members of the public.
"The incident was said to have happened at 11.15am. Based on the information we received, the transwoman reportedly had mental issues.
"The suspect was sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) for treatment," he said when contacted.
The incident not only shocked drivers but has also made it online, with a short clip already making its rounds on social media.
In the video, the transwoman was seen running and dancing on the road divider.
