IPOH: An express bus skidded and plunged into a ravine at Km 228.4 of the North-South Expressway (southbound), after the Bukit Gantang Rest and Service Area, this evening.
A spokesman for the Perak Fire and Rescue Department said the bus was carrying 21 passengers.
He said the fire department received a call about the incident at 6.57 pm before a team from the Taiping station rushed to the site.
The spokesman said rescue efforts were underway and based on initial information no casualties have been reported so far. – Bernama
