PUTRAJAYA: The pump price for RON97 will see a 2 sen increase per litre for the week of March 30 to April 5.
From RM2.61, the new price for RON97 will be RM2.63, effective midnight tonight.
However, the prices for RON95 and Diesel remain unchanged at RM2.08 and RM2.18 per litre, respectively.
According to the Finance Ministry, the actual prices for RON95 was supposed to be RM2.33 and diesel RM2.36, based on calculations made under the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM).
"However, the fuel prices for RON95 and Diesel remain unchanged in line with the government's decision to stabilise the retail prices for petroleum products and reduce the people's cost of living."
