Special prayers in conjunction with PH's first year in office

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad attended a special prayer here at the Putra Mosque, this evening.

The special prayers were held to mark Pakatan Harapan's (PH) one year in office today.

Clad in a purple Baju Melayu, he arrived at about 7pm accompanied by his wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali who wore a red Baju Kurung paired with a white headscarf.

Also present were Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa, Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Salahuddin Ayub.

The premier also joined hundreds of Muslims in performing the Maghrib prayer at the mosque and broke fast with the invited guests who were present.

Dr Mahathir and Dr Siti Hasmah also entertained requests for selfies from members of the public, before leaving at about 8.20pm.
