KUALA KANGSAR: An accident involving a trailer and a four-wheel-drive at KM256.1 of the North-South Expressway (NSE) near the Menora Tunnel resulted in a three-kilometre traffic jam, here, today.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said that they received a distress call at 12.29pm.
“The accident involved a trailer and a four-wheel-drive and we were also informed that a man was believed to have been pinned at his seat during the accident.
“The rescue operation is still ongoing,” he said adding that the operation was led by Samsu Bahrin Aziz.
It is learnt that the 12pm accident has so far claimed one live and it also caused the trailer to be turned on its side and blocked road users northbound.
