KUALA LUMPUR: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah received a courtesy call from Qatari Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani at Istana Negara here, today.
On arrival at the palace at 2.55pm, Sheikh Mohammed – who is also Qatar’s Minister of Foreign Affairs – was ushered to Dewan Sri Setia for a special meeting with the King, which lasted 15 minutes.
The Qatari Deputy Prime Minister is in Malaysia for a two-day working visit.
Also present during the meeting were Qatari Ambassador to Malaysia, Fahad bin Mohamed Y. Kafoud; and Foreign Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Muhammad Shahrul Ikram Yaakob. – Bernama
