Auditor general among 623 to receive Kelantan awards

KOTA BARU: Auditor General Datuk Nik Azman Nik Abdul Majid leads a list of 623 people who will be conferred awards and medals in conjunction with Sultan of Kelantan Sultan Muhammad V’s 50th birthday celebration today.

State Secretary Datuk Nazran Muhammad said Nik Azman is among the two recipients of the Ahli Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang award, which carries the title “Datuk”.

He said the other recipient is state legal adviser Datuk Shahidani Abd Aziz.

Nazran said three people would receive the Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia award, which carries the title “Datuk”.

They are Survey and Mapping Department director-general Datuk Dr Azhari Mohamed, Works Department Civil and Structural Engineering Division senior director Mohamad Zulkefly Sulaiman and Housing and Local Government Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Mohammad Mentek.

“Twelve people will receive the Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DJMK) award, which carries the title ‘Datuk’.

“They are state executive councillor Mumtaz Md Nawi, Rantau Panjang member of parliament Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff and Kelantan Justices of Peace Council secretary Mohd Riduan Junoh,” he said at a press conference here yesterday.

He said other recipients of the the DJMK award include special officer at the Kelantan Sultan office Nik Pakheruddin Nik Kadir, Lembaga Zakat Selangor Trustee Board member Professor Emeritus Dr Muhamad Awang and Water, Land and Natural Resources Minister Dr A. Xavier Jayakumar.

Four army officers will receive the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Kesateria Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa award, which carries the title “Datuk”.

They include Air Force deputy chief Lieutenant-General Datuk Seri Ackbal Abdul Samad and Army Artillery director Brigadier-General Ibrahim Yasir.

“Eleven people will receive the Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (DPSK) award, which carries the title ‘Datuk’.

“They include Local Government Department director-general Datuk Noor Ihsan Che Mat, Kelantan health director Dr Zaini Hussin, Wildlife and National Parks Department deputy director-general (operations) Hasnan Yusof and Gua Musang district officer Norazman Abd Ghani.”

He said eight people will receive the Ahli Yang Ketiga (Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia award and the Ahli Yang Ketiga (Taulan) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (Al-Ismaili III) award.

Nazran said 11 people will receive the Ahli Yang Ketiga (Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa (Al-Yahyawi III) award, adn 25 people would receive the Ahli Yang Ketiga (Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (Al-Ibrahimi III) award.

He said six people will get the Ahli Yang Ketiga (Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jasa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Setia (Al-Petrawai III) award, while another 53 would be conferred the Ahli Yang Keempat (Bentara) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (Al-Ibrahimi IV) award.

Six people would be bestowed the Ahli Yang Keempat (Bentara) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jasa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Setia (Al-Petrawi IV) award, 58 would be conferred the Ahli Yang Kelima (Ahli) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (Al-Ibrahimi V) award and two would get the Ahli Yang Kelima (Ahli) Bagi Darjah Kebesaraan Jasa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Setia (Al-Petrawi V) award.

Nazran said there are another 407 recipients, including 83 for the Bintang Ahli Kelantan award, Pingat Bakti (77), Pingat Ta’at (73), the Bintang Seri Mahkota Kelantan award (SMK) (37) and the Justices of Peace award (7).

He said Media Prima Bhd group corporate communications general manager Azlan Abdul Aziz is among the 37 people who will receive the SMK award.

Recipients will receive their awards today and in March.
