KUALA LUMPUR: Police will scrutinise footage from closed circuit TV (CCTV) cameras near a car park at Jalan Ipoh, here, where a Toyota Vellfire belonging to Batu Member of Parliament P Prabakaran was allegedly pelted with eggs on Friday.
The car park itself does not have a CCTV on its premises, Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim said, Bernama reported.
He added that there is no further information on the incident, and urged members of the public with knowledge on the case to contact the police.
According to media reports on Saturday, Prabakaran was returning from a dinner with friends at a Jalan Ipoh restaurant when he noticed that his Vellfire had been pelted with eggs.
The car park is located in front of the restaurant.
