KUALA LUMPUR: Three shops in Jinjang Utara here were destroyed in an early morning fire.
A spokesperson from Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department operation centre said the department received an emergency call at 1.33am.
“A total of 34 firefighters with seven engines from Jinjang, Hartamas, Sentul and Hang Tuah fire stations were dispatched to the scene.
“Upon arrival, they found three shops on fire and they managed to control the situation at 2.15am,” the spokesperson said in a statement today, adding that no injuries or casualties were reported.
“We are still investigating the cause of fire.”
