People are watching us, Muhyiddin tells PH leaders

PUTRAJAYA: Pakatan Harapan (PH) leaders have roles to play and one of them is not to bicker among themselves.

Without naming anyone, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the same sentiment was shared by many in PH.

“It is best to resolve any internal issues either at party or coalition level. If there is a dispute, it is wise to resolve it fast.

“The people are watching us in PH as a government. They want to see what we are doing. It is not our job to fight among ourselves and the people are not interested in this, instead it only worries them,” he told reporters after the flag-off of humanitarian aid to flood victims in Kelantan and Terengganu.

The people, Muhyiddin said, wanted to know how the government could help them; address economic as well as cost of living issues; provide many job opportunities and social facilities, of which PH leaders should use as a guide.

“PH has started doing the work, but it has yet to reach a satisfactory level,” he said.

Muhyiddin reiterated his call to put aside any dispute and continue working as a team to fulfil what the people had entrusted PH to do.
