KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said it is all geared up to face any possible flooding in the state.
This follows a heavy rain advisory for several parts of the state issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), today.
According to MetMalaysia, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah and Kapit (including Song and Bukit Mabong) are expected to experience heavy rain until Tuesday.
Also expected to be hit by the same weather system are districts and divisions in Bintulu, Miri and Limbang.
