KUALA KRAI: Another victim of an accident involving two four-wheel-drive vehicles near here succumbed to her injuries today, raising the death toll of the incident to four.
The two vehicles crashed into each other at midnight at Km17 of Jalan Kuala Krai-Gua Musang.
The recently deceased victim was identified as 60-year-old Samsiah Man, who was one of four passengers in one of the vehicles involved. She died at Sultan Ismail Petra Hospital here this morning.
Samsiah was travelling with her daughter Noor Hayati Harun, 40, her husband Tuan Arzue Raja Daud, 50, and their son Tuan Muhamad Adam Ashraf, 16.
Noor Hayati died on the spot while Adam Ashraf suffered injuries on his chin. The accident also claimed the lives of two passengers in the other four-wheel-drive vehicle.
They were identified as the driver Juhazrie Junoh, 37, and Mohamad Anif Mat Jizi, 41. Noor Hayati and her family were returning to Gua Musang from Rantau Panjang when the crash occurred.
