KUALA LUMPUR: Road users will enjoy toll rate discounts of between 10 and 33 per cent on 16 highways in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration.
Three other highways namely New Pantai Expressway (NPE), Lebuh Raya Kajang-Seremban (LEKAS), and Lebuh Raya Lembah Klang Selatan (SKVE) will slash their toll rates between 10 and 30 per cent at certain toll plazas only.
The discounts are in line with the corporate social responsibility (CSR) of the highway concessionaires.
The discounts, however, are only applicable to road users of Class 1 vehicles.
The Works Ministry, in a statement, expressed its gratitude to the highway concessionaires for implementing the toll rate discounts.
It said the two-day discount offer would be effective on Saturday and Sunday as a token of appreciation for highway users.
“Road users are advised to adhere to road regulations and plan their journey according to the recommended travel schedule by highway concessionaires to ensure a smooth journey to their destination.
