KUALA LUMPUR: All Barisan Nasional (BN) and PAS members of Parliament will be at the Istana Negara at 5pm today for an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
This was confirmed by PAS secretary-general Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan when met at Menara Dato Onn, here, this afternoon.
Takiyuddin who is also Kota Bharu MP claimed that "their side" has enough numbers to be presented to the King.
"Yes, we have enough numbers, 129 (MPs). Later this afternoon, we will have an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at Istana Negara," he said.
When asked if the MPs would be having an audience with the King together with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Takiyuddin briefly replied yes.
