They're lovin' it, Agong treats press members to McDonald's [NSTTV]

KUALA LUMPUR: Yesterday palace officials handed media practitioners camped outside the gates if Istana Negara Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).

Today, the King himself, Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah took the time to distribute lunch to journalists and photographers at Gate 2 of the palace.

This time around, it wasn't Colonel Sanders but the honour went to Ronald.

At about 1.10pm, the King distributed McDonald's which was very much welcomed by press members who had camped outside the gate since morning.

“Just a small gesture for you,” the King said on the McDonald's treat.

Meanwhile, expressing his concern over the current state of affairs in the country, the King asked press members to be patient.

“We are concerned, yes I know. Be patient," he said briefly to the media.

"First let me do my duties. I hope we will find the best solution for our country," he added.
