KUALA LUMPUR: Melawati Mall is undergoing cleaning and sanitisation works after a shopper tested positive for Covid-19.
In a statement on Facebook, the mall's management said the customer had visited a beauty saloon in the mall on March 2.
"The saloon owner informed that one of their customers had tested positive for Covid-19. As a precautionary measure, the premises have been closed temporarily for cleaning works," the statement said.
According to the statement, Melawati Mall is also cleaning and sanitising public areas including elevators and restrooms.
