Sabah 2020: 58pct voter turnout as of 3pm

KUALA LUMPUR: As of 3pm today, voter turnout for the 16th Sabah state election stood at 58 per cent, a four per cent rise compared to an hour ago.

The Election Commission (EC) anticipates a voter turnout of between 70 to 75 per cent by the time all polling stations close at 5pm.

Several candidates have voiced out concerns over the low voter turnout, including Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) president, Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, who has urged Sabahans to cast their ballot via his Twitter handle.
