KUALA LUMPUR: A two-week Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) will be imposed at sub-district 12 of the Penang southwest district from Nov 6.
Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the decision was made following advice from the Health Ministry, which was discussed by the National Security Council (NSC) in a special meeting today.
"The Health Ministry has recorded 35 positive Covid-19 cases there, including 11 new cases yesterday.
"The CMCO will be imposed there beginning Nov 6 to 19," he said in a press conference here today.
