JOHOR BARU: The flood situation in Johor continue to improve as the number of evacuees at temporary relief centres decreased.
Acxording to state Health and Environment Committee chairman R Vidyananthan, as at noon, there were 3,560 people from 902 families still seeking shelter at relief centres in six districts in the state.
"There are 31 relief centres still operating in Johor Baru, Kluang, Kota Tinggi, Mersing, Batu Pahat and Segamat," said Vidyananthan in a statement.
