Bjak.my aims to donate RM1mil to flood victims

IN light of recent floods, online auto insurance marketplace Bjak.my launched Bjak Kasih Fund to support severely affected flood victims.

Thousands of Malaysians have been evacuated from their homes due to critical flood situations in several states. To help ease the financial burden of flood victims, Bjak.my initiated this fund, and will be accepting donations from January 15 until January 31.

Bjak.my Corporate Relations Officer Amierul Nasir said that the MSC-status company is not only committed to social responsibility, but also envisions to be an advocate to support economically vulnerable groups.

"The massive floods hit several states badly, with water rising above the building roofs at the worst impacted area. While the nation is fighting Covid-19 pandemic, many people also feel sympathy for the flood victims.

"Hence, we set up Bjak Kasih Fund to invite Malaysians to donate to the society together," he said.

Malaysia car and motorcycle owners can contribute to the fund by entering a contribution amount when they renew their insurance and road tax at Bjak.my. On top of that, the company promises to match every ringgit donated by customers.
