Massive screen at KLCC junction gains attention with 3D visuals

FOR those who frequent the KLCC junction, they may have noticed something different during their recent commute.

Located on Jalan Ampang, opposite the Petronas Twin Towers, a larger-than-life display now greets motorists and pedestrians at the traffic light intersection of Jalan Ampang, Jalan Yap Kwan Seng and Jalan P Ramlee.

As one of the leading outdoor advertising companies in Malaysia, BigTree launched the largest digital out-of-home (OOH) display named CuBig @ KLCC Junction on May 5, 2021.

Boasting a crisp and dynamic digital display, this massive screen allows viewers to see 3D and anamorphic visuals, which even appear to protrude out of the screen.

The video above showcases a startlingly realistic display of a car morphing into a robotic tiger, a sight that will definitely pique the attention of passersby near the KLCC junction.

Shukor Ariffin, chief executive officer of BigTree said that OOH advertising aims to captivate the mobile audience as they go about their daily routines.

"The magnitude of this screen engages extensive audiences in the city centre, especially as they wait at this key traffic light intersection.

"Audiences would be able to enjoy immersive brand experiences, potentiating talk-of-the-town campaign creativity by utilising the anamorphic or 3D capabilities of the CuBig @ KLCC Junction," said Shukor.

He also added that this will be the future of advertising on digital OOH.

The online launch was named "Impulse by BigTree". This moniker was chosen to fulfil the idea of OOH media generating awareness and influencing consumer behaviour.
