KOTA BARU: A Covid-19 vaccination outreach programme, aimed at encouraging locals, especially senior citizens to register for vaccination, was held at Kampung Penambang near Pantai Cahaya Bulan, here, yesterday.
The two-day programme at Masjid Saadatul Ikhwan was jointly organised by Kota Baru district health office and the village community.
As of yesterday, 275,220 Kelantanese have received their vaccinations.
A total 191,938 have taken their first vaccine dose while the rest received both first and second doses.
Kota Baru recorded the highest number of individuals who were vaccinated, followed by Pasir Mas and Kuala Krai.
Kelantan recorded 219 new covid-19 cases yesterday bringing the cumulative figure to 33,705.
Of that, 213 were local cases while the remaining were imported and from the prisons.
All the 10 districts in Kelantan remained under red zones as of yesterday.
