Photo services, outdoor equipment and nurseries among businesses allowed to reopen

KUALA LUMPUR: Several business activities operating in states which are still under Phase One of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) will be allowed to operate beginning Sept 17.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said this was decided by the Special Committee on Covid-19 Pandemic Management, which met today.

These businesses, however, will only be allowed to operate subject to the vaccination condition fixed by the government.

The businesses allowed to resume operation include photography equipment and services shops as well as premises selling used items, orchards or nurseries, handicraft and souvenir, antique, toys, carpets, creative content and equiptment, outdoor equipment (including camping, fishing and other equipment); skin care, cosmetics and perfumes; and tobacco products (including vape and e-cigarette).
