IPOH: Walk-in vaccinations for individuals aged 18 years and above in Perak are available until Oct 31 only, Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Saarani Mohamad said.
Saarani said that there are 22 vaccination centres (PPVs) which accept walk-in vaccinations and those who have yet received the Covid-19 vaccine injections are urged to do so immediately.
"Based on the feedback received, there are still many people who have lamented their disappointment as they have not received an appointment date through the MySejahtera application, without knowing that they can get the vaccine directly at the PPV.
"Walk-in vaccinations at 22 PPVs in the state will only be open until Oct 31," he told reporters after chairing the state executive council meeting at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here today.
Saarani added that walk-in vaccinations are also open for foreigners whether they have documents or are undocumented, as well as expatriates.
"As of yesterday, 1.55 million or 83.57 per cent, of Perak residents aged 18 years and above have received at least the first dose of vaccine, while 1.15 million (61.94 per cent) people have received the second dose," he said.
