EMCO imposed in Kuala Boh Orang Asli village in Cameron Highlands

KUALA LUMPUR: Kampung Orang Asli Kuala Boh in Ulu Telom, Cameron Highlands, will be placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) beginning Thursday.

National Security Council (NSC) director-general Datuk Rodzi Md Saad, who announced the restriction in the council's daily update, said the restriction was imposed after evaluating the Health Ministry's risk assessment and case trend reports on the area.

He said the EMCO in Kampung Tementong in Cheka, Lipis, meanwhile, has been extended to Oct 13 as risk analysis reports suggest that conditions are yet optimal for lifting the lockdown.

The restriction on the village was originally slated to end on Wednesday (Sept after it began on Malaysia Day.
