Pavilion Bukit Jalil launches 'Prosperous, Bountiful and Joyful' CNY celebration

KUALA LUMPUR: Pavilion Bukit Jalil celebrated a 'Prosperous, Bountiful and Joyful' Chinese New Year with its tenants, partners, and shoppers here today.

Retail Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Joyce Yap said with 2022 heralding new beginnings, the theme 'Prosperous, Bountiful and Joyful' was an apt one to usher in Chinese New Year.

She said as the tiger is full of life and positive energy, luck and strength, the Year of the Tiger is apt for everyone to fully embody its spirit and drive to achieve and make progress.

"We are confident that with this roaring start to the year, we will see a mighty comeback in 2022, alongside our valued tenants, partners as well as shoppers," said Yap at the launch today.

In line with the CNY celebrations, a variety of exciting performances are in store at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, kicking off with a bonsai exhibition by the Malaysia Bonsai and Suiseki Society in the Piazza from today until Jan 19.

This will be followed by the Sonic Park Chinese New Year Carnival, also at the Piazza, from Jan 22 to January 28.

In the meantime, a collaboration with Media Prima will see TV hosts and announcers attend the Yoohoo 2022 Roadshow on Jan 15.

On top of exhibitions and carnivals, Pavilion Bukit Jalil will also have a weekly traditional stage performances such as dance and drum performances, lion dances, a God of Prosperity walkabout and many others.

There will also be opportunities to win gifts and redemptions, such as a chance to win an all-new BMW worth RM211,367.

Redemptions include an exclusive design and limited-edition festive tote bag, Pyrex casserole glassware, Snapware glass bottle, canned braised baby abalone, festive-designed cutlery set, or Happy Bag with Pavilion Bukit Jalil's gorgeous red packets.
