KUALA LUMPUR: Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein has brushed off Bagan member of Parliament Lim Guan Eng's list of 10 failed ministers in the government.
He said in politics, if one was to accuse the other as a failure, it would mean that they were actually worried of the failed person's performance.
"If they do not care, it means we have not done our job.
"Keep talking, I hope he continues to do so.
"I know until `kiamat (apocalypse)', he (Lim) will never say I have succeeded as a minister," he told a press conference at the Tuanku Mizan Army Hospital in Wangsa Maju here.
Also present was Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
Recently, former DAP secretary general Lim listed out 10 ministers in the current government as failed ministers.
Hishammudin topped the list due to the RM9 billion littoral combat ship (LCS) scandal.
Others in the list include Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Idris Ahmad, Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M. Saravanan and Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
