PETALING JAYA: A youth was killed when the motorcycle he was riding rammed into a cow on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang early today.
The 4am incident occurred when the 21-year-old was on his Yamaha Y15 near the entrance to Police Air Wing base in Subang.
District police chief Assistant Commisisoner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said the youth, whose identity has been withheld, died of injuries to his head.
"The victim was confirmed dead at the scene by medical officers, while the cow survived the impact.
"Police urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact the nearest police station to assist investigations," he said in a statement.
Witnesses can also contact investigation officer Inspector Mohd Hafeez Faesal A. Aziz at 011-32311232, he said.
