KUALA LUMPUR: A group of Royal Malaysian Navy officers earned praise from the public for their selfless act of jumping into the sea to save a puppy from drowning.
The two-minute-and-22-second video, which was uploaded on TikTok showed two personnel jumping into the sea, as they try to reach onto the puppy, which was swimming aimlessly.
A few other personnel were also seen helping them from the dock.
"They are the best! for saving God's creation," said Putera Jerai.
Another netizen, Siti Izza Ismail, was touched by the support and teamwork shown by the officers.
"I smile when I listen to the support and instruction given by their teammates (to the two personnel who jumped into the sea to save the puppy).
"They are the best," she said.
Amymini83 also commended the officers for their heroic act.
"They have kind hearts. Congratulations," she said.
The video, which was posted last night has since garnered almost 300,000 views.
