KUANTAN: The Eastbound lane at Kilometre 124 of East Coast Highway Phase 1 (LPT1) from Lanchang to Temerloh here will be closed and diverted from Monday (Oct 16) to March 2024.
LPT1 concessionaire ANIH Berhad said the closure of the route to Kuantan was to improve the main road as part of the flood mitigation project at the location.
"All traffic will be re-routed to the westbound lane (towards Kuala Lumpur), and contraflow measures will be implemented throughout this period," it said in a statement today.
ANIH Berhad advised users to plan their journeys and adhere to road signs and instructions from personnel at the location to ensure their safety.
