The programme is an ongoing step by the top management of Datasonic Bhd as part of its efforts to ensure that the company and its business activities are free from corruption.

This stance against corruption was reflected in their 'Anti-Corruption Awareness in the Management of Public and Council Funds Programme'.

The half-day programme took place at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club, Bukit Kiara recently and was attended by 35 people including the company's top management.

The 'Datasonic Corruption Free Pledge' ceremony was led by Datasonic executive chairman Tengku Datuk Seri Abu Bakar Ahmad Tengku Tan Sri Abdullah and witnessed by Putrajaya MACC director Azizul Ahmad Sarkawi.

Abu Bakar also expressed his gratitude to the graftbusters for their collaboration, where they shared about corruption offenses especially corporate liability under the MACC Act 2009, giving awareness of the importance of anti-corruption in the management of public funds in an organisation.
