KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said he will leave the decision of publicly disclosing the names of members of Parliament who intentionally miss parliamentary sittings to the Dewan Rakyat speaker.
"I leave it to the speaker," he said briefly when asked to comment on the move.
Previously, Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul said that among the improvements they are looking forward to implementing to boost MPs' attendance is the display of the names of those who deliberately absent on the Dewan Rakyat website.
