SHAH ALAM: Selangor civil servants will receive Special Financial Assistance (BKK) of two and a half months' salary, paid in stages.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the amount would include one month's salary to be paid on Dec 28 and half a month's salary, to be paid in February next year to help prepare for the school session.
He also said the special assistance also included a month's salary that had been paid before Hari Raya Aidilfitri this year.
"As a form of appreciation and appreciation to civil servants and those involved in the successful collection of the state government revenue, I announce BKK 2023 to all those who serve under the administration.
"(This) also includes state government service members whose salaries are paid by the federal government," he said during the presentation of the 2024 Selangor State Budget.
Amirudin added that the third BKK payment slated for February next year which consists of at least half a month of a minimum pay of RM1,000, would be implemented in accordance with a circular issued by the Human Resource Development Division.
