KUALA LUMPUR: Commencing today, eligible Malaysians have the opportunity to redeem the RM100 e-wallet credit from 8am on Dec 4 until 11.59 pm on Feb 20, 2024.
The redemption can be done through four main platforms: Maybank MAE, Setel, Shopee Pay, and Touch 'n Go eWallet.
Users are required to download the respective app from official stores.
Before receiving the RM100 eMadani credit, users must verify their eWallet accounts through a seamless electronic know-your-customer (e-KYC) process, involving the scanning of the Malaysian identification card (MyKad).
Maybank MAE users can redeem it by launching the app, tapping 'eMADANI', entering details, and submitting, while Setel and Shopee Pay users can follow a similar process in their respective apps.
For Touch 'n Go e-wallet, users can launch the app, tap 'eMADANI', agree to terms, select 'Claim now', input details, and submit for a confirmation notification upon successful redemption.
Recipients can anticipate receiving their e-cash within a span of 24 hours to five days following the review of their application.
However, it cannot be used for peer-to-peer transfers, cash redemption, utility bills, government fees, telco bills, online games, parking, toll payments, or online transactions.
Users should note these restrictions for proper utilisation of the credit.
