Dr Dzulkefly vows to complete unfinished business in cabinet reshuffle surprise

KUALA LUMPUR: Newly minted Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad is making a comeback to address unfinished business that he left behind over five years ago.

Fresh from Istana Negara after being sworn in to resume his former position, he expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

"I was called back to address my reform agendas, programmes, and projects.

"I will do my best," he said today.

Heavily tinted vehicles were seen leaving the Gate 2 of Istana Negara since 4.27pm after the new ministers and deputies sworn in.

Anwar's restructured cabinet now comprises 31 ministers, supported by 29 deputy ministers.

Among the newcomers in the cabinet are Employees Provident Fund (EPF) chief executive officer Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, who assuming the role of Finance Minister II and Titiwangsa member of parliament, Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani, who being appointed the Plantation and Commodities minister.
