KOTA BARU: Kelantan recorded the first case of Covid-19 among flood victims after a nine-year-old boy tested positive for the virus.
According to sources, the boy who is from Kampung Kedap in Rantau Panjang, tested positive yesterday.
The boy is among the many flood victims taking shelter at the SK Sri Rantau Panjang 2 relief centre.
He tested positive during a screening test conducted by the state health officers stationed at the centre yesterday morning.
The boy is currently placed under quarantine.
Kelantan health director Datuk Dr Zaini Hussin when contacted today, confirmed the case.
