KOTA BARU: Pas has condemned the recent attacks by the United States (US) and Britain against Yemen.
Its president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang said the US and Britain should use their influences to halt Israel's attacks on Gaza rather than inciting new conflicts.
"Pas has condemned the two nations' attacks on Yemen.
"The blatant attack clearly shows that the US and Britain are in cahoots with the zionists in the Gaza conflict," he said in his facebook post.
The Marang member of parliament said the global community should also condemn the actions by the US and Britain.
The US and United Kingdom (UK) have launched a series of strikes on Yemen against the Iran-aligned Houthi rebels, who have been targeting international commercial ships in the Red Sea.
The Houthis, who support the Palestinian group Hamas, called Friday's attacks "barbaric" and in a statement threatened that "all US, UK interests have become 'legitimate targets'."
