Police seek witnesses in investigation of fatal fall incident in Taman Putra Damai

KUALA LUMPUR: The police have called for witnesses to assist in the investigation of an incident involving a local man who fell from a building in Block D, Taman Putra Damai, Lembah Subang, Petaling Jaya.

Petaling Jaya police chief assistant commissioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said the victim was suspected to have fallen from the upper floors of Block D, landing on the ground behind a residential property.

"The police received information about the incident at approximately 11.50am on Jan 14. The victim died at the scene of the incident due to fatal injuries.

"A sudden death report (SDR) investigation has been initiated in response to this tragic incident.

"The Petaling Jaya District Police Headquarters is urging the public with any relevant information to come forward and assist in the police investigation," he said in a statement.

Witnesses with any information related to the incident are requested to contact the investigating officer, ASP Mazli bin Jusoh @ Che Kob at 010-8073939, the Kelana Jaya Police Station at 03-78062222, or the Petaling Jaya District Police Headquarters at 03-79662222.

Alternatively, they may reach out to any nearby police station.
