KULAI: Residents of Kampung Murni Jaya can expect to see the longstanding water supply issues they have faced being resolved within the year, bringing much-needed relief to the community.

According to a report by Media Digital Johor, the resolution comes as a result of the proactive measures taken by State Housing and Local Government Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Jafni Md Shukor, and State Works, Transport and Infrastructure Committee chairman Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh.

"A budget of RM6 million has been allocated for the replacement of old pipes, a move that is expected to effectively address and rectify the water supply disruptions experienced by the villagers," the report said.

Furthermore, Ranhill SAJ, the local water supply company, is set to provide additional support. This includes the provision of extra water tanks and the dispatch of water tank trucks, as needed, based on the requests of the local residents.
