KL City Hall organises 11 programmes to celebrate Federal Territory Day

KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (KL City Hall) has lined up 11 programmes from last October until July 14 in conjunction with the Federal Territory Day tomorrow (February 1).

KL City Hall said in a statement today (January 31) that the programmes included the 1 Suara @ 50 WP, from last October until the end of next month; Teaterikal Gemuruh (February 23-25); Prosperity Walk and Chinese New Year Celebration (February 24); Cycling Marathon @GFNY Kuala Lumpur (February 25 ) and Carnival 50WP 2024 (July 13 and July 14).

KL City Hall said it has also decorated the main roads in the city, such as Jalan Raja Laut, Jalan Raja, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman and Jalan Sultan Ismail with 3,000 Federal Territory flags.

It added that 1,550 Federal Territory flags have also been put up on street lamps around the city and the local authority also issued a letter to the owners of premises to jointly enliven the celebration by flying the Federal Territory and Kuala Lumpur flags on their buildings.

"May the 2024 Federal Territory Day be celebrated joyfully by all city dwellers.

"Enliven this meaningful day by flying the Federal Territory flag on your premises," it added.— Bernama
