The first session of Parliament starts on Feb 26

KUALA LUMPUR: The parliament sitting this year will commence on Feb 26, with 69 days in total.

The First Meeting of the Third Session of the 15th Parliament will begin with an official opening on Feb 26 and is set to be graced by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, followed by the Royal Address.

Checks on the Parliament website saw the sitting for the First Meeting will be from Feb 26 to March 27, a total of 19 days.

The Second Meeting will be from June 24 to July 18 (15 days), followed by the Third Meeting from Oct 7 to Dec 5, with a total of 35 days.

The 2025 Budget is scheduled to be tabled on Oct 11 at 4pm.

The sitting is from Monday to Thursday from 10am to 1pm and from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.

It is learnt that the number of days is short by five days, compared to 74 days
