KOTA KINABALU: Kiulu assemblyman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai has been confirmed to continue leading the Sabah Tourism Board as its chairman.
State Tourism, Culture, and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew announced this today, highlighting Joniston's significant contributions to promoting rural tourism during his previous term, which ended on Nov 15.
In other changes, the Sabah Tourism Board welcomes Julinus Jeffrey Jimit as the new chief executive officer (CEO), succeeding Noredah Othman.
Noredah is now at the helm of the Sabah Convention Bureau as its CEO.
